Only the Nitra Business Card offers a Reward Multiplier on medical supplies that reaches up to 2.2% - the highest in the industry for medical supplies. With Nitra, you will always get 1.5% cashback rewards on all your purchases. and 2.2% on medical in the first three months!

The Nitra Business Card has no annual fee, while the Platinum Card® from American Express has a $695 annual fee.

The Platinum Card® from American Express has a rewards program with a heavy focus on travel benefits - 5X points on flights and prepaid hotels booked directly through American Express Travel or on amextravel.com, and 1X points on all other purchases. If you’re a heavy traveler, this may be enticing.  But remember that this won’t apply to flights booked directly with the airline or through third party sites like Expedia!

Nitra built the benefit program specifically for doctors like you, to deliver more value and help you manage your business expenses quickly and easily, freeing you up to focus on your patients.  Not only are the rewards earned higher, but the Nitra Business Card allows you to redeem those points one to one for statement credits.  In contrast, American Express has a 0.6% Statement Credit Redemption Rate, meaning your points value is significantly lower in this channel.

Any points earned with the Platinum Card® from American Express will sit static in your account until they are used.  They do not offer any interest!  The Nitra Business Card is planning to launch a new program that would allow you to put your points to work with an innovative solution called Rewards on Rewards. You earn 3% interest on all the points in your account, much like a high-yield savings account.

As a business owner, you may need trusted employees or partners to handle your purchasing.  If you want them to have their own card, traditional programs, like the Platinum Card® from American Express, will require you to call in and request one - and subsequently charge 300 dollars per employee card.  There isn’t even the option to issue virtual cards that would allow your employees to spend immediately. The Nitra Business Card does not charge for employee cards and gives you the ability to issue an unlimited number of virtual cards directly from your account dashboard. If you're looking for a card that gives you the flexibility and control to empower your employees to spend on behalf of the business, the Nitra Business Card is the way to go.

At Nitra, we believe that you should be empowered to shop for your essential business supplies wherever is most convenient for you.  That’s why The Nitra Business Card comes with a free annual membership for Amazon BusinessPrime and Costco Executive.  The Platinum Card® from American Express does not cover these costs. In fact, American Express cards aren’t even accepted at Costco.  The Nitra Business Card is the only card with access to these valuable marketplaces.

The Nitra Business Card is built to help you manage your medical practice and save you time.  That is why we built our card program with a technology-first mindset.  Your staff won’t have to spend long hours manually reconciling receipts thanks to our Receipt Matching and Auto Reconciliation capabilities.  These allow card holders to upload receipts seamlessly via text or email, which are subsequently matched to the right transaction automatically in the platform.  You can also set spend limits on all physical and virtual cards so that you can proactively control how much can be charged by a vendor or spent by an employee - weekly, monthly, or annually. The Platinum Card® from American Express does not offer any of these features.

At Nitra, our sole focus is delivering value to doctors and their practices.  That is why we have signed relevant and valuable partnerships with merchants that serve your vertical.  Our Medical Vendor Offers and Promotions include special discounts or additional cashback on medical supplies, access to exclusive deals on software, and even access to business services like Accounting at a discount. The Platinum Card® from American Express has a standard set of benefits they offer to all businesses - from coffee shops to retailers.  So, if you're looking for a card that is solely focused on offering value to medical professionals,Design/Content:
